What is TeamAlike?

TeamAlike is an AI-powered matching & filtering layer that sits between your inbound CVs and your short-list. It uses capability-based matching on top of ESCO's ~32k skills to rank, filter, and uncover hidden gem candidates that traditional keyword matching misses.

Who is TeamAlike for?

TeamAlike is built for hiring managers & team leads in small/mid-sized tech-centric companies (20–200 employees) who screen candidates themselves but don't want a heavy ATS. It's ideal for Engineering Managers, Heads of Engineering, Tech Leads, CTOs, and Heads of Data.

Is TeamAlike an ATS?

No – TeamAlike is NOT an ATS. It's the 'brains' that sits between your inbound CVs and your short-list. It integrates with whatever you already use for sourcing and tracking: ATS exports, job boards, email inbox, or CSV files.

How do I get candidates into TeamAlike?

You can import candidates via CSV export from your ATS or job boards (Greenhouse, Workable, etc.), drag & drop CVs directly, or even email-forward to a role inbox (e.g. backend@teamalike.app) to ingest CVs from your hiring email aliases.

How does capability-based matching work?

TeamAlike uses AI-driven skill extraction combined with the ESCO skills ontology (32k standardized skills) to map extracted skills into 10–20 high-level capabilities. This means equivalent skills like 'Java' and 'Python' are treated as related, and candidates are matched on what they can actually do.

What are must-have filters?

Must-have skills and location are treated as hard gates. Candidates who don't meet these requirements are filtered out before we even start capability scoring. This ensures you only see candidates who meet your non-negotiables.

What is the Team Gap feature?

The optional Team Gap Boost lets you add a simple team profile so candidates who fill your team's missing capabilities rise to the top. New hires complement existing strengths instead of duplicating them. This feature is on our roadmap.

How transparent is the scoring?

Completely transparent. You can see exactly why a candidate is ranked high: capability breakdown, skills matched, must-have pass/fail, and location fit. No black box – every score is explainable.

How is TeamAlike priced?

We offer SMB-friendly pricing: Starter at $69/mo (1 user, 2 active roles, ~750 CVs), Growth at $149/mo (5 users, 10 roles, ~3,000 CVs), and Company at $299/mo (15 users, 30 roles, ~10,000 CVs). Overage CVs are billed per-resume.
