Welcome to TeamAlike. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our AI-powered candidate matching and ranking platform. By using TeamAlike, you agree to these terms.

TeamAlike provides an AI-powered matching and filtering layer that:

  • Processes candidate CVs and resumes you upload
  • Extracts skills using AI and the ESCO skills ontology
  • Maps skills to capabilities for role-based matching
  • Ranks candidates based on your defined requirements
  • Provides shortlists and insights for hiring decisions

To use TeamAlike, you must:

  • Create an account with accurate information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to enter agreements
  • Use the service for legitimate hiring purposes only

When using TeamAlike, you agree to:

  • Upload only candidate data you have the right to process
  • Comply with applicable employment and data protection laws
  • Not use the service for discriminatory hiring practices
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer our matching algorithms
  • Not share account access with unauthorized parties
  • You retain ownership of all candidate data you upload
  • You are responsible for having appropriate consent to process candidate data
  • You may export or delete your data at any time
  • We process candidate data solely to provide matching services
  • We use AI to extract skills and calculate capability scores
  • We do not share candidate data with third parties
  • We maintain appropriate security measures for all data

TeamAlike offers subscription plans based on:

  • Number of users
  • Number of active roles
  • Monthly CV processing volume
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
  • Payment is due at the start of each billing period
  • Overage CVs are billed per-resume at published rates
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds for partial billing periods

We strive to maintain high availability but:

  • We may perform scheduled maintenance with notice
  • Unscheduled downtime may occur due to technical issues
  • We are not liable for service interruptions
  • Our matching algorithms, software, and content are proprietary
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our technology
  • You retain rights to job descriptions and requirements you create
  • You grant us license to process your content to provide services

TeamAlike provides matching and ranking suggestions to assist hiring decisions. However:

  • We do not guarantee hiring outcomes
  • Matching scores are algorithmic suggestions, not hiring recommendations
  • Final hiring decisions remain your responsibility
  • We are not liable for hiring decisions based on our rankings

TeamAlike is provided “as is” without warranties of:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy of skill extraction or matching scores
  • Continuous, uninterrupted service availability

You agree to indemnify TeamAlike against claims arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Candidate data you upload
  • Violation of these terms
  • Your hiring practices or decisions

We may update these terms to reflect:

  • New features or services
  • Legal or regulatory requirements
  • Clarifications of existing terms

We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.

We may terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these terms
  • Use the service for unlawful purposes
  • Fail to pay subscription fees

These terms are governed by applicable laws. Disputes will be resolved through:

  • Good faith negotiation
  • Mediation if negotiation fails
  • Binding arbitration as a last resort
